When her best friend, Kenna, offers her a ticket to Scotland, Vee takes it, hoping to escape her troubles. I loved the relationship between Vee and Kenna! They both seemed to be like sisters who |
Continuing on with the story, they coincidentally cross over to Doon two weeks before the Centennial, which occurred because of Kenna’s amulet, gifted to her by her great-aunt. I love love love Doon! Never before had I enjoyed such a wonderfully written fantasy novel as this, especially in YA! I felt that Corp and Langdon went above and beyond all my expectations for this book. They certainly made me fall in love with Scottish men, especially Jamie (Vee’s love interest) and Dunkan (Kenna’s love interest).
I think you might’ve already realized by now, but I really loved this book and I gave Doon 5 out of 5 stars. I am eagerly awaiting my next read from them!
I encourage all fantasy lovers to read this! Along with all you romance lovers – you will definitely love Jamie and Dunkan, I definitely did!
