Let’s get right into it, then!
YA Books:
Cinderella and the Colonel by K. M. Shea: A beautifully written book with amazing characters, the pace was a little in between fast and slow, but just right for this book. I’m so surprised I haven’t discovered this author before, she writes like a freakin’ GOD. I definitely recommend her works for those who love fairytale retellings; she does a wonderful job executing the stories and making readers connect with her characters. |
Beauty and the Beast by K. M. Shea: Another fantastic story written by the amazing Shea! I loved this book! The characters were so well written and likeable, I couldn’t, for one second, put this book down. I really enjoyed the unique twist Shea put on her retellings and the intricate way she creates a clean romance/relationship with the main character and other characters. |
Greta and the Goblin King by Chloe Jacobs: Oh, my goodness, guys, I think I found a new favorite author. Yes, I know the title is a bit (ok, a lot) cheesy, but it’s the story we want to focus on! I loved the characters all throughout the book; especially seeing as there was actually some character growth! The pace of the story was perfect, the background was good but I really felt like there were some parts missing. But all of that doesn’t matter since there happens to be 2 MORE books out in this SERIES! *squeals* I couldn’t wait to get my hands on those copies! |
